Finding a nanny can be a daunting task. Children are precious and deserve safe, responsible, nurturing caregivers. We work hard to find just such a caregiver for your family, along with consistency and reliability you can depend on. We meet with all of our nannies and families in person to ensure a great match. We are here to help you every step of the way to make the process as easy as possible.
Our goals are to assist parents in finding nannies for their children and to develop nurturing relationships between families and nannies from the start.
Below are a few typical nanny care options:
- Full-Time Live-in: A full-time live-in nanny typically works 35 hours or more a week and lives in your home. The family provides a private bathroom and bedroom for the nanny in their home.
- Full-Time Live-out: a full-time live-out nanny works 35 hours or more a week.
- Part-Time Nanny: A part-time nanny is a permanent employee who works 5-34 hours a week. Nanny Share: A nanny share is a great solution for two families wanting to split the cost of one nanny. This can be a full-time or part-time position. Families must be prior acquaintances.
- Summer/Temporary: A summer or temporary nanny works for a family for 90 days or less. This is a perfect arrangement for a family seeking a nanny for their school-age children during the summer months or for a family seeking help from a nanny after a new baby joins the family.
Amy at East Wind Nannies blew me away almost immediately. She was absolutely professional in every sense, from her approach to my family’s specific needs down to her press kit and company materials. Her references were impeccable and from the minute I spoke to her I instantly felt comfortable. She even came to our home and spent an extensive amount of time getting to know what we were looking for. My only disappointment is that I won’t get to interact with Amy now that she’s found us someone!”
