Discovery Phase
So, if you haven’t done so already, head over to our SERVICE and decide if you need a fixed, part-time or full-time homecare specialist, a flexible, on-call provider, or both! (Psst. ALL our fixed care packages include a complimentary one-year membership to our on-call service.)
Then, you’ll connect with one of our friendly team members for a quick get-to-know-each-other chat. We want to learn about your family and what type of help you are looking for, including your must-haves and deal breakers.
Sign-On Process
Are you hiring a fixed part-time or full-time employee who’ll work for you on an extended, ongoing basis? You’ll read through all the legal mumbo-jumbo, complete our intake forms, the family questionnaire, and settle the $400 application retainer. Next, we’ll start the search to find you someone fabulous!
Need casual help on demand? Pay a one-time registration fee of $199, download the app, and you’ll be immediately connected to our on-call homecare experts. These providers are East Wind Nannies’ employees, so you can order as much or as little help as you wish and simply pay-as-you-go for $35 per hour. Bing-bang-done. Your sign-on process is over, and your relief begins!
Employee Search
We'll craft a highly detailed, compelling job ad to attract your target hire. Then, we meticulously pre-screen applicants, sometimes whittling down from hundreds of prospects (no exaggeration) to a select few that stand out.
Next, these shortlisted providers meet with one of our eagle-eyed hiring experts who’ll examine their qualifications and personality to ensure they’re a match for your family and the role. Finally, we’ll present the profiles of our recommended finalists for your review (and interview!).
Hiring & Assurance
Here comes the light at the end of the tunnel! After you’ve made your hiring decision, you’ll make it official by sending your potential employee an offer. Don’t worry! We'll guide you through every step of the process. From background and reference checks to drafting the offer letter and work agreements, we’ll be your shadow, right beside you with help and resources!
Lastly, let’s address the elephant in the room. Although it doesn’t happen often, sometimes, a match fails. And regardless of whether it’s the family’s decision or the provider’s, we’ll work tirelessly to find you a replacement. Our assurance period begins on your employee’s start date and coverage continues for 30, 90, or 180 days, depending on your chosen package.
