Must-Haves

For all positions, you bring a minimum of two years of professional experience and have top-notch references ready for verification.

You're willing to undergo all necessary background checks.

At the very least you've obtained your high school diploma. Educators, therapists, and other specialized roles require the completion of post-secondary studies, and any mandatory certifications that may apply.

You're able to make a minimum of a 1-year commitment for a long-term position.

You have up-to-date CPR and First Aid certificates, or are open to receive training before starting a role.

You have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle.

You have legal status to work in the USA.

You're a non-smoker.

ALL personnel will be paid via payroll with taxes removed. Yay for being an awesome citizen!
WHAT YOU'LL EXPERIENCE HERE :
Application Phase
Okay, so you’ve just read all our prerequisites above, and you’re nodding your head thinking, “I feel like they’re describing me to a T.” PERFECTO! Complete our easy-to-fill-out application and introduce yourself. Budget about 30 minutes and know that we thoroughly review every single one.
Video Interview
We read over your application and think you’re pretty fabulous. Let’s get to know each other better! You’ll receive a follow-up email from us to schedule a video meeting with one of our easy-to-talk-to teammates. Budget about an hour and don’t sweat it ~ we’re super friendly!
Background Checks & References
As you’d expect in our industry, we’ll do our due diligence by conducting all the legal nitty gritty that keeps our clients safe. At a minimum, this includes reference checks and former employer verification, state and county background screening, and a driving record review.
Family Interview & Offer
You’re in the home stretch! If you’re joining our on-call division and we’re smitten, we’ll make you an employment offer to welcome you to our team. If you’re off to work for a family, you’ll meet each other to see if you’re as good of a match as we thought, and they’ll present you with an offer.
Is this really goodbye?
No chance! We’ll help you negotiate your offer and work agreement with your chosen family, so you get the most favorable package possible. That includes salary, paid time off, job responsibilities, and more! Then, we stick around on the periphery remaining as a resource to you and your employer.
