WHO/WHAT: Hey there, Troubleshooter! Get your hopes up—way up—because we’ve worked with this family for years, and they are truly A NANNY'S DREAM! Your schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm, with guaranteed 40+ hours a week and opportunities for overtime if you're interested. This loving family includes Mom, Dad, their sweet 5.5-year-old daughter, and her baby brother, a lively and curious one-year-old. Your primary focus will be on their son, supporting his daily rhythm—snack time, lunchtime, naps, diaper changes, outdoor play, and lots of hands-on developmental activities. He’s at such a fun stage of discovery: first words, first steps, sensory play, and lots of music and movement. The family would love to encourage activities like story time at the library, music classes, or toddler swim classes if you're up for it!

Their daughter is social, athletic, and a fantastic helper. She plays piano, enjoys arts and crafts, loves a good adventure, and is a big helper in the kitchen and with her little brother. She's also wonderfully independent when needed. She thrives on routine and structure but would benefit from a nanny who can also encourage flexibility and adaptability when plans change. In the fall, she'll be starting first grade (8:30am–3:30pm), so your day-to-day outings with her will mainly occur during summer, school breaks, or after-school activities.

Dad works from a dedicated home office (and stays out of the way during your work hours), and grandparents live just minutes away if extra support is ever needed.

Light Housekeeping:
The family has cleaning help every other week, but your support with the kids' daily tidying is very important. This includes:

  • Cleaning up after meals/snacks
  • Tidying toys and play areas
  • Sweeping up crumbs
  • Taking out diaper/kid trash as needed
  • Keeping an eye on inventory (diapers, bath supplies, snacks) and letting the parents know when things are running low
  • Light meal prep, including children’s lunches, prepping healthy breakfast options, chopping veggies, and occasionally batch-prepping basics like pasta or hardboiled eggs would be a dream!

THE IDEAL NANNY IS…Adaptable, proactive, and loving! You're calm, organized, and know how to balance play and learning across different ages. You bring patience, creativity, and toddler know-how, and you're eager to support a family that truly values you as part of their team. You are reliable, trustworthy, punctual, and genuinely excited about building a long-term relationship with the family for years to come. If you just yelled, "OH BABY, this sounds like me!"—then APPLY RIGHT NOW and get ready to be welcomed with open arms!
