*Short-Term/Summer Position | Mother’s Helper/Nanny*

Start Date: May 3rd - end of July 
Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 12pm - 8pm and Saturday mornings from 9am - 1pm; Guaranteed 36 hours/week; flexibility to guarantee 40 hours/week with 11am start times for the right fit 
Hourly Rate: $30-35
Children: 9-month-old
Pets: Friendly Beabull (Beagle/Bulldog mix!)

WHO/WHAT: Are you a teacher, college student, or some other education field specialist who’s looking for a meaningful summer position? Go ahead, take advantage of those fun summer nights and weekends because 80% of the time, you won’t start until NOON! This role will last three months during which you’ll be the ultimate “Mother’s Helper” to these new first-time parents and their adorable nine-month-old girl. You’ll work Tuesday through Friday from 12 pm to 8 pm and 9 am to 1 pm on Saturdays. Mom takes care of the family full-time and Dad’s a realtor whose business keeps him busy with long hours. At the center of their universe is their precious baby girl who’s as happy and relaxed as her proud parents. You’ll hold, comfort, feed, burp, change, and guide her naps (on Saturdays as she usually sleeps from 9 am to 10 am). This little lady has a BIG appetite and loves to try new purées. A fresh-air fanatic like her parents, you’ll giggle your hearts out pushing her on the backyard swing set. Mom will be home healing from surgery and a critical piece of this role is being her right hand during her recovery. That means jumping at the chance to take stuff off her plate, especially during the first month as she won’t be able to lift the baby or perform many household tasks. You’ll help with everything under the sun: laundry, washing bottles, restocking the nursery supplies, vacuuming, sweeping, light dinner prep, and general light tidying up. There’s a senior beabull who’s super chill. He’ll need to be let out into the yard to roam (there’s an invisible fence), and the odd doggy dish top-up. Mom won’t be able to drive so you’ll also transport her to and from appointments using her vehicle. This role will look great on any resume!
