WHO/WHAT: You’d better stretch, because in this house, dance parties can (and do!) break out at a moment’s notice. Are you someone who can show up and be your best self around children regardless of what’s happening in your life? Do you want the occasional morning off to attend your personal appointments and run errands? This beloved returning East Wind Nannies’ family of four is looking for their next long-term steady. We set them up with their current caregiver, who’s been with them for several years! With two boys—ages four and 22 months—there’s a lot going on in this house. Mom works from home while Dad is mainly in the office. In the fall, the youngest will be starting school three days/week, so hours will typically fall between 7:30 am - 6 pm, with some mid-day start times on MWF. Flexibility is KEY in this role, as school will be closed numerous days in the fall, where they’ll be looking for 9 am - 6 pm coverage instead. Additionally, occasional date nights or late night coverage would be appreciated. Mom and Dad have high standards and want their nanny to give their children everything they can’t in their absence. That means you’ll provide attention, stimulation, energy, and compassion for these precious boys. The littlest fellow is SO sweet and chill, and he loves to snack, and shake it to the beats, sometimes both at once but not exclusively. It’s a quick, ten-minute walk to pick up big brother from school, though the family would love someone with a reliable vehicle and clean driving  record for excursions during school breaks! Curious and affectionate, he’s always up for a race with his cars, or to go for a ride on his scooter. There are no pets, but you will need to assist with household chores. This includes the children’s laundry, dishes, restocking supplies, vacuuming, sweeping, and light meal prep. There are several allergies and food sensitivities that will be shared with candidates who successfully move to the next phase. We’re looking to move fast with the right fit, so if this sounds like you then APPLY right now!

THE IDEAL NANNY IS… CONSISTENT! You avoid drama, communicate issues openly and maturely, and don’t bring your problems with you to work. You can read a room and know where you are most needed, and similarly, read a situation and anticipate how best to jump in and keep things running smoothly.  Reliable and punctual, you show up full of patience and energy to proactively tackle the day. Outside play is your cup of tea, and you’re always ready to initiate a game or activity as a creative jumpstart for kids. Not typically a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants-er, you prefer plans and schedules but are also adaptable. You’re also playful, nurturing, and understand the challenges of being a toddler. That’s why you’re happy to contribute gems from your past experience to guide these formative years and create kind, well-adjusted humans. So if you value putting on a poker face even in the middle of a hurricane for the sake of shielding the kiddos, then we want to meet you so APPLY today!
