WHO/WHAT: Do you have a demonstrated record of infant experience and an interest in working with a sweet little boy and loving first-time parents? Mom and Dad both occasionally work from home, but they’re busy lawyers who won’t get in your way. These friendly first-time parents welcomed their son in January and hope to build a strong relationship with and transition the new nanny into the role as their parental leave concludes around the start of spring. Although flexibility is appreciated, you’ll typically work Tuesdays to Thursdays from 8 am to 6 pm (or 9 am - 5 pm if you prefer!). Both Grandmas will be helping out on Mondays and Fridays; however, it would be marvelous if you grabbed the odd shift in the event they ever need off. This crew is very family-oriented, so you’ll likely meet most extended family members! In your day-to-day, you’ll hold, comfort, feed, burp, change, and guide this sweet fellow’s naps. When the little guy’s awake, you’ll create a nurturing, stimulating environment for him, including by reading to him, tickling his itsy-bitsy feet, and teaching him about sounds, colors, and textures. (With two parents who were former soccer athletes, we fully expect the tiny gentleman to instinctively headbutt soft objects.) While the baby naps, you’ll help with his laundry, wash bottles, restock the nursery supplies, vacuum, sweep, help with light dinner prep, and general light tidying up. There are no pets, and—since the goal is to find someone who’ll remain with this family for years—a driver’s license is necessary as driving will eventually be required. Infant safety knowledge is mandatory, as is a pleasant personality, so if you’re the nanny we’re looking for, then APPLY TODAY!

THE IDEAL NANNY IS… CARING AND DEPENDABLE! You’re a loving, playful, and helpful person, as welll as a self-starter who is happy to go out of your way to help these first-time parents. You have prior childcare experience with excellent references and hold valid first aid and CPR certifications. Experience raising your own children is a plus as well (though not required)! Nurturing, trustworthy, and safety-minded, you leverage your professional infant experience to always be one step ahead of any hazard. In addition to being reliable and punctual, you’re also flexible to cover extra shifts now and then and willing to update the parents a few times a day. Stability and a penchant for longevity and consistency matter a lot to this growing family, as does a desire to provide safe and supportive care. If you are passionate about providing top-notch care, ensuring a safe environment, and becoming an important part of this child’s life, then APPLY RIGHT NOW!
