Start Date: Mid-May through the end of August
Hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, starting at either 8 or 9 am and ending at 4 or 5 pm; flexibility for the odd evening and weekend shifts required; family is flexible to include additional hours on other days for the right fit; Guaranteed 24 hours/week
Hourly Rate: $20-30/hr; flexible for the right fit
Children: 4-year-old, 16-month-old, and newborn due in April
Pets: Two large dogs

WHO/WHAT: What’s better than jazz hands? PRUNE hands. You know, the ones you get from swimming all day. Are you a fun-loving, dependable teacher or a highly experienced nanny who’s looking for the best summer job around? This schedule—like this soon-to-be-five family of five—is a dream, leaving you tons of personal time. Ideally, you’ll work Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, starting at either 8 or 9 am and ending at 4 or 5 pm. For this generous role, you will need to be flexible for the odd evening and weekend shifts. Dad is a busy entrepreneur who works from home, so you’ll primarily tag team with Mom and another fabulous existing nanny (yes, we found her, too). There’s a four-year-old boy who has more energy than all the Pittsburgh Steelers combined. There will be so much singing and dancing together that you’ll think you’re on Broadway because—at least for now—this young music class pupil prefers footloose to football. His little brother is 16 months old and loves chilling with his big brother and going for walks with his two doggies. A total sweetheart, he’ll soon become a big brother himself, which means you’ll have a newborn to hold, comfort, feed, burp, change, and guide his naps. Since there’s also another nanny, you’ll tackle the children’s laundry, washing bottles and dishes, vacuuming, sweeping, restocking the nursery supplies, meal prep, and pet care for the two pooches together. Have no fear, these pit bull-mix rescues are big softies, especially to friends like you who’ll give them snacks and let them out into the fenced yard. There’s a large inground pool which is where you’ll be often, so strong swimmers only, please. Infrequently—think summer field trips to the zoo or afternoons at the beach—you’ll be required to drive using your own vehicle. We’ve worked with this family for years and adore them. THE IDEAL NANNY IS…EXERIENCED!
